The newly restored Chu Quyen Temple was unveiled, after three years of work, on November 7 in Hanoi's Ba Vi District.
Chu Quyen Temple is a 17th century structure decorated with numerous unique carvings rendered in wood and terra cotta.
Last month, the Union of International Architects (Asia-Pacific Region) awarded the project first prize in the category of heritage conservation.
Among the six projects which won awards from UIA, Vietnam received the greatest number of votes. This is the country's first international award for architectural restoration.
