The museum of Can Tho city is hosting an exhibition of Vietnamese ceramics from December 12 until April 16, 2012.
The exhibits displayed are part of collections of Vo Minh Dan and Tran Quoc Doan. Both are members of Vietnam Culture Heritage.
To reflect the diversified culture and history of Vietnam, the exhibition showcases 200 ceramic designs and documents representing famous handmade ceramic villages in Vietnam.
The audience will have an opportunity to learn about the difference in ceramic products from three regions - the North (Chu Dau, Bat Trang villages), Center of Vietnam (Chau O, Quang Duc villages) and South (Cay Mai, Lai Thieu, Bien Hoa town).
At the exhibition, the ceramic designs focus on different themes such as ceramic in architecture, ceramic and religion, as well as home and decoration ceramics.
