A collection of Buddhist stamps from Vietnam and around Asia is on display at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibit Van hoa nghe thuat Phat giao Viet Nam va the gioi (Buddhist Art and Culture from Vietnam and the World) includes over 3,000 stamps from India, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Renowned collectors Tran Van Bui, Nguyen Hung Dai Loc and Nguyen Hoang Tung, winner of Vietstampex award in 2000, contributed some of the collection's most remarkable stamps.
A series of leathers stamps from India, featuring the Buddha sitting on lotus flower, has been highly anticipated by enthusiasts.
The show opened May 3 and will close in August.
