Vietnamese Canadian Fan Yang, world-renowned artist for his striking performances with soap bubbles, will return to his homeland to break world records on April 29-May 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 48-year-old bubble artist will attempt to break his 17th world record by making a giant single soap bubble with more than 150 people inside.
Yang started experimenting with soaps at 18 and discovered a special mixture to make unusual soap bubbles.
He began his performances in 1986 and his shows become a worldwide hit just a year later.
Following the HCMC shows, he will perform in Hanoi from May 28 to June 1.
The income of his record-setting show held in California on April 4 and debut show in Vietnam on April 29 will be donated to the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper's fund to help underprivileged families living in and around Truong Son mountain range.
Ticket prices range from VND200,000 to VND1,000,000 and are available at Hoa Binh Theater, 240-242 Ba Thang Hai Street, District 10, HCMC.
