Vietnamese Canadian bubble artist Fan Yang wowed Da Nang with a stunning performance on Sunday, February 17.
Yang, who has set 18 bubble-related Guinness World Records, presented 24 items with giant colorful bubbles that were spectacularly lit up by laser lights.
On February 14, Yan and the show's organizers, Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theater and Dong Do Culture and Art Introduction Company, visited the SOS Danang Village and gave 150 Tet gifts and VND 5 million in cash to the children who live there.
He also entertained the children with free bubble making acts.
The central city is the first destination on Yang's latest Vietnam tour. After completing the Da Nang leg on February 24, the Toronto-based artist's will move to the coastal town of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province, where he will perform on March 2 and 3.
Fan Yang was born in Vietnam in 1962. He has earned international acclaim with his bubble theater performances. In addition to performing, he has developed his own bubble solution formulas and equipment.
After scoring his 18th Guinness world record of making a giant soap bubble which encapsulated 181 people in Vancouver, Canada in September 2012, he decided to choose Vietnam, his mother's homeland, as the first stop on his world tour.
Yang has performed has Vietnam three times earlier, in 2006, 2011 and 2012.
This is the first time he is visiting Da Nang and Nha Trang.
