The British punk rock group Melodramas will return to Vietnam to offer a one-night performance on September 2 at the Ho Chi Minh City Hard Rock Café.

Founded in 2008 with four members, Gregory (guitar bass), Samuel (drums) and Matthew and Robert (guitar and vocals), Melodramas has played alongside music industry legends like the The New York Dolls and Taylor Hawkins (The Foo Fighters). They have sold out shows in China, Kuwait, Vietnam and Australia.

The group has been featured in CMJ (College Music Journal). Sonicbids, a website dedicated to promoting up-and-coming artists, recently named them 'Artist of the Week.' At the end of the 2010, the band plans to record their first album.

This February, the Melodramas held a performance with two Vietnamese rock bands, Unlimited and Microwave, at the Tiger Translate Concert held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Tickets are available on the door, on the night of the event, at Hard Rock Café, Kumho Asiana Plaza, 39 Le Duan Boulevard, District 1.
