Belgian pianist Eric Legnini will perform in Vietnam next week as a part of the European Music Festival, organizers said.
The renowned pianist, considered one of the most talented jazz musicians, will join a trio performance with bass guitarist Dan Romeo and drummer Franck Agulhon during his concert in Hanoi on Thursday and Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.
In 1990, Legnini, then 20 years old, began to teach jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
Legnini won "Octave de la musique jazz" in 2006 and "Instrumental album of the year" for his album "The Vox."
The European Music Festival will take place at five theaters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 18-29, featuring eight bands from European countries in 13 different concerts.
