The Belgian Beer Festival will be held for the first time in Vietnam on October 3 at the American Club in Hanoi, the Belgium Embassy has said.
During the festival, visitors can taste a variety of Belgian beers including fruity and light beers, learn about the beer brewing process, and enjoy Belgian games and jazz music, the embassy said in a statement.
Belgium is famous for its high-quality beers and drinking culture.
Beer festivals are held year-round throughout Belgium and provide a chance for local brewers to share their passion and products with beer connoisseurs.
Belgium is home to over 2500 beer varieties, which range from blond to dark, sweet to bitter or sour.
They're produced by more than 120 breweries.
Last April, the country sought to have Belgian beer recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage.
The festival will take place at American Club, 21 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hanoi starting at 6:00 pm on October 3.
Tickets can be bought at the entrance or through a hotline: 09.7467.7754/04.3519.0808 at VND250,000 (US$12) before September 27 and VND300,000 ($14) after this day.
Tickets will remain available at the entrance during the festival.
