UK-based beatboxer Killa Kela will make his second visit to Vietnam by headlining a music festival in Hanoi and HCMC this month.
The Hype festival, which mixes hip hop, techno, electro, drum n' bass, will take place at My Club (19/21 Hai Ba Trung Street) in Hanoi on April 10 and at Fuse Club (3A Ton Duc Thang in District 1) in HCMC on April 11, local newswire VnExpress reported Friday.
Killa Kela will rock the stage with his drummer Andy Knowles as well as DJ Skeletrik.
The festival also features the performance of Q-Bik, Australia's top drum and bass DJ.
Local acts including Props, Hanoi Bossa Nova, JC, Tri Minh, Polo, and MC Gramsci will also take to the stage.
Last July, nearly 2,000 Vietnamese came to see Kela perform at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace in the capital despite heavy rain.
Killa Kela is an international hip hop icon and is stopping in Vietnam as part of his Asian tour.
