The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is giving Vietnamese filmmakers a rare opportunity to showcase their works on international television.
BBC News, in association with Hanoi-based RedBridge TV & Film Production, has called for entries for its program "My Country Vietnam."
Amateur or professional filmmakers can send their finished documentaries, between 30-60 minutes in length, for consideration. The films should have been made in the last three years; they can be either observational or tell specific stories of Vietnamese life.
Three chosen films will be marketed under the "My Country" series banner and aired in August this year.
BBC will edit all documentaries to 22 minutes with English subtitles for airing.
The deadline for submissions is May 31. For more information, call Dinh Thi Phuong at 0168 6519 756 or email email@example.com.
