The Legend Hotel Saigon is planning a daily international buffet, chef's pizza, classic high tea and a western dinner in August.
The buffet at the hotel's Atrium Café will be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Atrium will also be serving a Sunday brunch with free flow of wine, beer, coconut cocktails, fresh fruit juice, soft drinks, coffee and tea. The price starts at VND630,000 and includes use of the swimming pool between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Children aged 4-12 get in for half price.
The chef's own pizzas will be served in the Lobby Lounge with spicy pepperoni, anchovies, prawns, kalamata olives, onion, tomato sauce, herbs and mozzarella cheese. The price starts at VND168,000 and includes a glass of beer.
Also in August, the Lobby Lounge will be running a Japanese food promotion featuring a combination of salmon sashimi and assorted sushi plus a cup of sake. It's called "Land of the Rising Sun" and will cost from VND252,000 per person.
Last but not least, the Lobby Lounge will be serving a traditional high tea next month priced from VND294,000 for two.
At the Tropicana Pool Bar & Eatery, which serves tropical cocktails and tasty snacks, it's happy hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 30 percent discount on house wine and draught beer.
Executive chef Romeo Bantiling of the Legend's Oggi Steak and Bar is preparing a four-course western set menu for August. The first course will be Boston clam chowder soup, followed by seared French duck liver, surf and turf, and a pineapple Tarte Tatin with kiwi sorbet for dessert, complemented with freshly brewed coffee or tea and petit fours. The starting price of VND660,000 per person includes a glass of house wine.
Oggi has its own happy hour, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday, with a 20 percent discount on house wine and draught beer.
