The Goethe-Institut in Hanoi will host "Chicken: chip, chic, chicky" an art installation by artist Dinh Cong Dat from June 25 to 28.
Admission is free and the gallery is open, daily, from 10a.m. to 7p.m.
This installation is made up of 100 to 150 paper-mache chickens in various states.
To promotethe simplicity of the display, Dinh Cong Dat has used cheap materials including old newspapers, glue and string to make the paper-mache chickens.
Hanoian artist Dinh Cong Dat graduated from the sculpture studies program at the University of Fine Arts in Hanoi. He has lived and worked in Paris and New York and has work on display there as well as in Dubai, London and other cities.
During the exhibition, Dinh will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate his paper-mache techniques, on request.
