Reggae, Hip Hop, Ghetto Funk and House mixed the "good old fashioned way" had an audience riveted to the dance floor at the ATK Bar in Hanoi last week.
American DJ Alefresh had worked his charm once again.
It was another feather in the cap for the DJ who started his career in 1999 as "dj shorterm," playing underground house parties in his home state, Michigan, the birthplace of techno music.
In 2000, he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and played parties on the North Shore, at such venues as The Wave and The Maze in Waikiki, and underground parties on the Big Island with long-time companion DJ Rundown playing a mix of reggae, hiphop, breaks, and funky house music.
He re-emerged as DJ Alefresh following a break he took after playing at the Burning Man Festival in 2003.
