has produced a single featuring nearly 100 popular singers and artists to raise funds for soldiers on the Truong Sa archipelago.
The song, Khi to quoc can (When the Fatherland Needs), was written by composer Pham Dang Khuong. It was chosen as the official song for the Sixth Vietnam Youth Federation Congress later this year.
The single was released Thursday. It is being considered for a national record for using the most number of singers for one song.
All proceeds from sales of the CD will go to the soldiers stationed on Truong Sa.
Khuong said he expects the song to be welcomed by young Vietnamese with its heartfelt message of unity and a better future.
