The 9th Vietnam Motor Show opened Wednesday at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City's District 7.

It has attracted the 15 leading automobile makers in the domestic market -- including BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Land Rover, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, and Vinastar -- who have brought their latest models and technologies.

Organized by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), C.I.S Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition JSC, PR firm Le Bros Company, and auto importers, it also has dozens of booths selling car components and services like vehicle insurance.

The five-day show is expected to attract 15,000 visitors.
